Fun new kits

There are some really fun Fall & Halloween kits coming out right now.  Of course I don't have any pictures to use from this year yet, but I used some from last year.

 

This one is Christy Lyle & Shawna Clingermann's newest that's coming out tomorrow at The Sweet Shoppe.

 

This one Kristin Cronin-Barrow released last week, I love how its got pinks in it and its a fall kit.  LOVE IT!

 

This is another Kristin creation, comes out tomorrow at the Sweet Shoppe, goes with Keira's witch costume from last year perfect.  Think this will work with a fairy costume?  LOL!  I hope so, beautiful kits! 

Keira's first day of preschool

She had a great time, she was so excited this morning and couldn't stop talking about it after we picked her up.

 

I had to take a little break from my school work to do a page of how cute Keira looked this morning.

It sucks, I didn't get to take her to school this morning, woke up with a migraine and I knew if we all went Cooper wouldn't go back to bed and I wouldn't be able to get any sleep, so Sean took her in. 

I'll take her on Friday, she doesn't have school on Wednesday since its a teachers planning day. 

I can't believe my baby girl is growing up so fast. 

Scrapping Away

Been doing a lot of scrapping this weekend, tomorrow I've got to get to work on all of my reading for school.

But, I thought I'd share a few pages.  The first kit is An Affair to Remember by the Shabby Princess, its her new release and the second kit is That's My Boy by Zoe Pearn at the Sweet Shoppe.

 

 

Most of the other ones I've been doing are from Jessi's wedding.  I'm so mad, I was working on a page, getting ready to save it and photoshop closed.  Pissed me off!!  In that page of Cooper you might be able to see that he fell and bumped his head on the concreate.  Scared me to death.  Thank goodness he has a hard head.

We finally got a crib tent yesterday, so things are back to normal, Cooper is getting naps and going to bed at a normal hour. 

Keira starts preschool in the morning.  I know, she went to daycare/preschool for almost 3 years in Alaska, but this is at an actual elementary school, I just can't believe she's old enough for all of that. 

I almost forgot, we did a lot of our Christmas shopping on Friday for the kids.  I still need to get Cooper maybe one or two more little things and stocking stuffers and a few more things for Keira, but here's what I got them if you want to look.

Where we live

I thought I'd share a couple pictures of where we are living at.  Keep in mind, its not much and its free. 

 

This is the little house we're staying at right now.  It is Sean's grandpa's.  He lived here and raised his kids here, so its an old how.  Its small, but it has 3 bedrooms, that's something we never had in 10 years in the Air Force, so the kids have their own rooms.  We still have tons of things boxed up, Cooper has tons of boxes still in his room, but its working out for now.  We're going to wait at least 6 months before house hunting, maybe longer until Sean finishes school. 

This house has a huge yard, the backyard is really big and backs up to a field, and this is my view out our front door.

 

Corn for as far as you can see and a dirt road.  Now for someone that grew up around water, not crops I find it to be very strange how these are actual farms here.  And, when we first got here the corn did make me a little nervous, you don't know whats in it.  But, I'm getting use to it now. 

I've also been busy scrapbooking, did a lot of pages yesterday, today I have to work on my homework like a good girl.

 

 

 

Keeping busy

We've been staying pretty busy this weekend, done a little stuff to the house, not much though, we don't really feel like it.  Its been so pretty and nice outside.  Friday we built a fire in the backyard, there was a little firepit out there, so we roasted hotdogs and marshmallows. 

Sean and I've been catching up on True Blood as soon as the kids go to bed.  LOL!

Yesterday we went to the Elephant Bar for lunch, it was so good!! Then we just walked around the mall, went to payless to get Keira some shoes for school.  Speaking of shoes, we stopped by Toys R Us to get some baby proofing items and they had all their clearance stuff buy on thing at clearance price, get one for $1.  So, I got Cooper 2 pairs of shoes for $7.  One for now and one for later.  

  

 

I've also been doing a little scrapping.  I think today we're planning on going to play Mini golf with Keira and I've got a ton of reading I need to do before Tuesday for school.  YAY!  LOL!

I need to get in the swing of things

I really need to get all of my boxes unpacked so that I can start to get a schedule established around here.  Right now, I've got dirty clothes just kind of all over, clean clothes still in suitcases, boxes everywhere.  I need to set up my cheap little desk I bought so I don't have to keep using the kitchen table.  I need to set up a homework schedule for me, house cleaning schedule. 

Sounds like I need to do lots of things, but with the house so disorganized, I don't want to do much, Sean is rarely home because of work and school.  I've gone through the boxes I can without him here. 

Anyhow, enough of that rambling.

They played with them for a while, more like boats that houses, but whatever keeps them busy, right?

I'm still alive

I'm sure you've figured out by now that I'm not they greatest blogger in the world right now.

We've been without internet for 2 weeks, I'm only getting a chance to check it at my inlaws house.  We finally moved into our rental, with boxes everywhere.  My sister-in-law got married on Saturday, Sean and I both start school tomorrow and Keira starts preschool on the 14th, so if you don't see much of me, you'll know why.

 

 

There is Keira as the flowergirl in Jessi's wedding, so was sooo excited to do it.  And the happy couple, Jessi & Scotland.

It's quiet here today.  My inlaws went on their annual canoe trip, Sean and Jessi are both at work, so its just me and the kids.  Its actually kind of weird.  LOL!

Busy Weekend

On Friday an old friend of mine and Sean's stopped by on her way to Ohio.  I hadn't seen Vanessa is 7 years, we met in Tech School way back in 1999, and were stationed together in Japan as well as our training.  She was probably my best friend in Japan, so it was really awesome to see her.

It was like we hadn't been apart at all. We had a great time and I'm hoping to see her again while she's in Ohio, before she heads off to Korea for 3 years.

We went to dinner and to see the Ugly Truth.

So funny, then again I love a good chick flick.

This is me and Vanessa.  I spent the night with her and we just talked and drank and had a good time.

Then on Saturday we had a family reunion to go to, it was fun, didn't really know anyone, but Keira had a great time swimming and there was good food.  I'm always up for good food.  LOL!

Then on Sunday was my Sister-In-Law's Bridal shower.

I think it turned out really nice and Jessi got a lot of great stuff.
