Happy 4th of July

I know, I'm a terrible blogger, things have been beyond crazy this week.  For one thing we flew to Washington D.C on Monday, got home on Thursday, went to a water park on Friday and 4th of July party today.  I promise I'll try to do a good post soon, but until then here are pictures of the kids from today.

Offically out of the Air Force

Yesterday was my first offical day out of the Air Force.  I am now a civillian, such a weird feeling, I was in for 10 years and 18 days.  I plan on staying home with the kids as long as I can and probably try to get a part time job just to get out of the house, we'll see.

Dinner and a Movie (AT NIGHT TIME)

That's a crazy concept right, we haven't been to dinner and a movie at night since I was 9 months pregnant with Cooper.

Sean and I went to the Melting Pot last night, really nice.  Something you wouldn't be able to afford often, but it was really nice, we dressed up.  The food was wonderful!  Gave me a greater respect for Fondue, I really want an electric fondue pot now.

We had a Spinach & Artichoke Cheese Fondue, our meats where Lobster, steak, shrimp, pork, and chicken, with broccoli and mushrooms.  So good, you cook the meat in a broth or oil, we had a broth.  YUM!!  Then for our Chocolate was a Flaming Turtle.  Milk chocolate, caramel, and peacans lit on fire table side.  We had strawberries, pound cake, brownies, rice crispies threats, cheese cake, bananas all to dip.  So good, I can't say enough good things about it.  So, if you can afford to go, go at least once.

Then we messed around Ann Arbor for awhile and then went to see the Proposal, very funny!  It was probably the best romantic comedy I've seen in years, seriously.  Betty White, too funny!  Ryan Reynolds, I love him and Sandra Bullock is one of my favorite actresses.  Sean loved it too, it was just a really great movie.  So much better than The Ghosts of Girlfriends Past, the last chick flick we saw.

I'm alive

Probably not 100% back to normal yet, but we've made it to Michigan and are trying to settle in as much as we can.  Poor Cooper, he was excellent on the plane until we were almost at the gate and then he threw up.  He's been running a fever since yesterday and hasn't eaten much, but he has been drinking milk and hasn't gotten sick anymore.  He ate a few french fries tonight, so that's at least a start.  He's acting pretty normal though.

Keira was great on the flight, watched a couple movies and went right to sleep and woke up at the gate.  She's really loving being in Michigan, loves playing outside.  She did like having a little dog around until he bit her today, left a pretty nasty bruise on her leg and broke the skin in one place.  She wasn't doing anything to him, just playing with her Grandma and he got her.  She's doing alright though.

Baby Birds

I hope the little birds make it, we're offically out of base housing now, so I no longer can protect them.  I've tried to make it known to everyone that has been over there and one guy said today that he would put a sign up beside them, so I hope it works out.

Internet is still crappy

I tried for an hour last night to get online so I could watch 30 Rock on Netflix, but it didn't work, so I didn't get to watch any last night.

Some good news is that the eggs in our backyard hatched.  I took a picture of them, but its not very clear, so you can't really see them, they just look like little brown blobs.

Yesterday Sean and I went to see two movies.  Angels and Demons, it was good, but they changed a lot of things from the book just like they did with the Da Vinci Code, but since its been so long since I'd read Angels and Demons I really couldn't remember that much about the book.  I think I droven Sean crazy asking him "was this in the book", "I don't remember this", "is he the bad guy".  If you haven't read the book it'll be really good I think.

Then after that we went to see The Ghosts of Girlfriends Past, I'd been wanting to see this.  It was really funny.  Matthew McConaughey was beautiful as always, I love Jennifer Garner and Michael Douglas was really funny too.  It was of course a typical romantic comedy, but worth watching if you love Matthew.

All moved out

All of our stuff is packed and we're moved out of our house.  So, now we're just playing the waiting game.  I have a lot of stuff to do next week as far as outprocessing goes, so hopefully that'll go quickly.  It turns out that I do have internet in billeting, but it is slow, so I still probably won't be on that often.  Just wanted to check in and say hi.

A little birdie

Keira was outside with Sean, and she comes running inside and says "Mama, there is a little birdie outside, with a nest in the grass in our yard and there is eggs and she flew away" or something to that effect.  I was like oh, that's cool.  Then Sean comes in and tells me there really was.

So, now the issue is we have to leave soon, Sean has to mow the grass on Monday.  Poor little bird.  I don't know what we'll do.  If anyone has any ideas let me know.  Please.
